Spring

Enjoy late season ice fishing in March and April. Or come up just after ice-out for tremendous crappie fishing in the shallows.

Spring time is especially nice as we watch the entire ecosystem come alive after a long winter. Watch the early loon arrivals dance on the water in preparation for mating.

Summer

The summers are what most people associate with resort time.

Many folks revel in our quiet atmosphere, but appreciate the proximity to the Brainerd-Nisswa shopping, restaurants, and entertainment.

Fish, swim, golf, kayak, bicycle, run or just kick back and watch the world go by in a lawn chair.

There’s a lot going on around Brainerd this time of year!

Fall

September and October can be very much like an extended summer with warm days and cool nights.

Fishing can really pick up this time of year and small game can be pursued in the nearby woods, lakes, and rivers.

Things are very quiet this time of year and Agate Lake Resort is the perfect spot for an autumn retreat or casual business meeting

Winter

Some folks spend as much time outdoors in the winter, as in the summer. Icefishing and skiing are very popular.

Ski Gull is only a 1/2 mile from us and there are miles of snowmobile trails right out the door.

Cross country skiing is also available in the huge Pillsbury State Forest, just to the west of Agate Lake.

In addition, there are many groomed trails within easy driving distance of our resort!
