Your in Brainerd, You Have to Fish!
Agate Lake is a natural private lake that remains unspoiled due to low use and exceptionally fine water quality. It is a natural lake, meaning the native species include: largemouth bass, northern pike, crappies and bluegills and pumpkinseed sunfish.
There are some walleyes in the lake, but they are not a target species. There are many fine walleye lakes nearby, including Gull Lake, one of the finest walleye fisheries in the state.
Big Fish
Every year there are multiple catches of out-sized largemouth bass. You can see from the photos that, if you like bass, you have the potential here for a wall hanger. Additionally the panfish can reach large proportions, as well whether you fish in a boat or off the dock.
Many of our biggest fish have been caught off our docks!
